Physio at Work Ltd. has been established to provide both physiotherapy and ergonomic services.

Physio at Work clinics are located within LA Fitness gyms near Baker Street and near Oxford Circus in the West End of London. For details of locations please refer to the "Contact Us" section of this website.

Physio at Work Ltd. also has on-site physiotherapy clinics in various organisations throughout London. If your organisation is interested in providing on-site physiotherapy for your staff please contact Bronwyn Clifford.

Physio at Work Ltd. is recognised as a physiotherapy provider by all major U.K. insurance companies.

Bronwyn Clifford - Physiotherapist

Bronwyn Clifford (nee Timbs) : Principal. Chartered Physiotherapist and Ergonomic Consultant

Bronwyn graduated in Physiotherapy from the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in 1996. She worked in the public sector in New Zealand before relocating to London in 1998. In London Bronwyn has worked for both the NHS and the private sector. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Ergonomics in 2001 from the University of Surrey and has since worked as an Occupational Physiotherapist and Ergonomist for various industries including television, healthcare, finance, and Parliament. Her work has involved providing on-site physiotherapy treatment, DSE training, manual handling training, back care awareness classes and general ergonomic training/advice.

Bronwyn specialises in treating work-related musculo-skeletal disorders, primarily repetitive strain injuries (R.S.I.) and back pain. She undertakes ergonomic workplace assessments and provides training on backcare and manual handling for Physio at Work Ltd.

In her spare time Bronwyn enjoys running, mountain biking and going to the theatre.


Bridget Plant - Physiotherapist

Bridget graduated in physiotherapy from the University of Otago, New Zealand. She has worked in both public and private practice in New Zealand and the UK including a spell as physiotherapist for the Wellington Old Boys University rugby club. Bridget is experienced in several areas including management of chronic and degenerative conditions.

Bridget's ongoing training has included manipulative therapy, neural mobility, muscle imbalance and Pilates work. Her special interests lie with injury rehabilitation and prevention.


Dino Michalakis- Physiotherapist

Dino graduated in physiotherapy from the Auckland University of Technology in 2001 after being drawn to the career from a very elaborate sporting upbringing.

After spending five years working in private practice in New Zealand, which included traveling with a premier football club, Dino came to London as part of his traditional kiwi 'overseas experience'. He specialises in treating musculo-skeletal complaints with a special interest in sports and spinal injuries. He also has an interest in treating work-related complaints such as repetitive strain injuries and chronic back pain.

In his spare time Dino enjoys sporting, recreational and travel activities in particular squash, golf, fishing scuba diving and tramping.


Claire Doherty - Physiotherapist

Claire graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1994. She spent 6 years working within the NHS in central London, before moving into the private sector.
Claire has completed a post-graduate course in Neuromuskulskeletal Physiotherapy and is currently studying towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics. She has also trained in acupuncture and pilates. Claire specialises in treating work related problems and she also undertakes ergonomic workstation assessments for Physio at Work.

Sam Young
Registered Member of the Health Professions Council

Sam graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2002. He then spent a couple of years working in hospitals and rehabilitation centres in Australia before moving into private practice work. He recently moved to the UK following a year working in Ireland.

Sam specialises in treating both work-related and sporting injuries. He enjoys rehabilitating patients following orthopaedic surgery and conducting hydrotherapy sessions.

An avid sportsman, Sam loves playing Australian and Gaelic football, cricket, basketball, and water skiing.

Chris Schafer - Podiatrist

Chris Schafer has been practicing podiatry in the NHS for 15 years and privately for 12 years, specialising in muscular-skeletal podiatry, gait analysis and the prescription of custom-made functional foot orthotics. He specialises in sports injuries, biomechanics, gait analysis and Orthotics.
